New courtyard plantings
courtyard gardens are now planted out with succulents, in this photo there's two sedums, a kalanchoe & echeveria big red.
Echeveria pink frills about to flower, aeonium chocolate rose, kalanchoe, sedum variagated, and aeonium variagata up the back.
A couple of aloes, echeveria black prince, echeveria mexican giant, aeomium short black, sedeveria darley dale, some sedums & kalanchoes
Aloe striata coral, echeveria white rose, echeveria frosty, echeveria set oliver, unknown small echeveria, sedum gold mound & tall unknown kalanchoe.
Echeveria perle von nuremburg, sedums & kalanchoe, most of which I dont know names as they were cuttings & babies I have accumulated, once they all grow & flower maybe I'll be able to figure out what they are. I ended up reasonably full & now I just have to wait for them to fill in the spaces.

You have been busy!
ReplyDeleteWonderful plantings - I also planted succulents though our climate isn't the best for some of them. Different ones from yours - though like you many are nameless cuttings at this point, so who knows! Interesting you put straw around them. I haven't seen that before and am wondering why? Hope they fill in for you in a most satisfying way! Thanks for visiting our GBBD!
ReplyDeleteI love your GBBD country mouse, I put sugar cane straw down to try & conserve a little moisture, Im gardening in Australian beach sand, which is very fine & water repellant.
ReplyDeleteThis is looking great Becc! It looks like you have them in a fairly shaded location which is good. It's nice to get your hands in the dirt. Right now I am looking outside and it pouring cats and dogs! Crazy weather. Been raining for about 4 days now. I am ready for it to be done!!!! I want spring!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like it will be a fun planting! ...And it just reminded me that I need to go rescue my hens and chicks from being overrun out in the front garden. I hope things cool down a bit for you now that autumn is coming on.
