New spring flowers

Heuchera Rave On Coral Bells.  In a pot with a camellia I dug out of original garden

Dampiera diversifolia, a little West Australian native I have always loved, but struggled to grow with any success, so we will see how it does in this pot with a cordyline

Begonia, also in a pot with a camellia, its a lot more healthy than its bed fellow thats for sure!

Spathyphyllum from Dads original plant, thought it was a little early to send up a flower spike,

Cyclamon on his last flowering legs, but still alive!!

Dendrobium Speciosum, also at the end of its flowers, but they have been so lovely.

Echeveria Perle Von Nuremburg

Brachyscome Brasco Violet next to rock, Cosmos atrosanguineus Chocolate cosmos, & Calibrachoa Apricot Eye, all growing next to a clematis which isnt doing anything.

Brachyscome Lilac Sunrise,

Alstromeria Eliane, just keeps pumping out the blooms.

Aloe Bush Baby Yellow, same blooms from last month still going strong, osteospermum in the background.

Bacopa Gulliver Violet, gorgeous tough little ground cover, easy to break pieces off & transplant

Scaevola, this one was sold as triple treat.

Salvia Mystic Spires Blue, just very small still but flowering away.

Euphorbia Ascot Rainbow

Lychnis Passion, this one is new to me so not sure how it will go in the summer heat, but am loving the hot pink flowers.

Rhodanthemum African Eyes

Bracteantha Mohave White, This plant would be twice the size if Bella had not chased a cat on top of it.

Nemesia Aromatica Toyal Blue

Verbena Aztec Plum Magic

Dahlia Salinas

Dutch Iris, bulbs saved from original garden

Geranium Rozanne

Armeria Pink Petite

Dutch iris with Grevillea Dorothy Gordon

Lechenaultia Mullewa Blue, another beautiful West Australian native.

Conospermum triplinervium still going strong, hope it survives to next year.

Front Garden

My Red Flowering Gum, which is going to have orange flowers has some wonderful new growth
Corymbia Ficifolia
This plant was in the letter box planter when we bought the house, there were two of them, but one has died, not sure what it is, maybe a syzygium, but not sure, looks like it has responded to my pruning though.  I have planted it in the front garden just to the right of the red flowering gum.

Also out front, quite close to the verge I planted this silver trim agave, the ticket says grows to 1m so a bit smaller than the normal agave.
Agave Silver Trim
Just next to the agave I popped in a Duranta stentostachya - sheena's minigold, which only grows to 60cm high by 60cm wide. The gorgeous yellow foliage should contrast nicely with the hebe & alternanthera I have planted close by.

Duranta Stenostacha - Sheena's minigold
Rather a pathetic looking little Acacia limelight, but I like to buy my plants as small as I can because I feel they do better in the long run, or is it that Im just to stingy to pay for bigger ones!
Acacia Cognata - Limelight
Low view across front door garden towards front door!
Alternanthera ruby something?, salvia love & wishes

Nice to look at flowers for a change!

All the sand everywhere is starting to get me down, so I thought I would just post some new little plants that I have recently put in the ground.
Salvia love n wishes goes beautifully with the foliage of alternanthera little ruby.
on the other side I have a Gaura Belleza dark pink, gorgeous hot pink flowers & hopefully as drought tolerant as the big white one.

A couple of little succulents in my letter box planter, dont know names.

The new growth on my draecena marginata has gone ballistic, It got a little damaged when it was moved to Perth & I think that may have prompted it to send out new trunks, it is also getting a lot more attention than before

Any how back to pulling & cleaning pavers, yuk!!
